Perugia, 27 April 2022 – Continue the search for academic excellence, continuing to reward the most brilliant and innovative dissertations related to the topics of computer engineering and digital technologies, always with an eye to the future. With these objectives Pegaso 2000 and the University of Perugia, already partner for some years thanks to several collaborations, launch the third edition of the degree awards “Pegaso 2000” for three graduates/ graduates of the University of Umbria.

Pegaso 2000, a company based in Corciano (PG) and with branches in Milan and Rome, a leader in the Italian Information Technology landscape in the field of Credit Finance, Soft Finance and Money Market, works to spread a culture attentive to the design of computer systems and use of digital technologies in synergy with the academic world.

In fact, the call for applications is addressed to all students who will complete their master’s degree program with the thesis discussion within one of the final exam sessions related to the academic year 2020/2021.

The deadline for the submission of applications is 20 June 2022

 

“The collaboration with the University of Perugia, started several years ago, stimulates us again to renew the welcome initiative of the degree awards – commented Franco Cicogna CEO of Pegaso 2000 -. We believe that the results of the first two editions have shown how exciting and important can contribute to the human and professional growth of our students, as well as representing, once again, the high qualitative value of our University”.

 

The three best works will be decreed by a Commission of five experts, two representing Pegaso 2000 and three Professors of the University belonging to the Departments of Mathematics and Informatics and Engineering. The three winners of the selection will be awarded during a public ceremony: for the winner the expected prize is 2,000 euros, for the second of 1,500 euros, while the third winner will win 1,000 euros.
